Stephanie Haley

Clinical Psychologist

Stephanie has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in in the public and private sectors, and gained her Bachelor of Psychology at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. She is a full member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association, and a registered supervisor who offers supervison to clinical psychology students, psychologists and Registrars.

Stephanie’s special areas of professional interests include mood disorders and personality
disorders. She enjoys attending professional development events to keep up to date with the latest resarch and psychological treatments.

Sonia Neale is a counsellor with extensive experience in community mental health working with people from a variety of backgrounds.  She works with Stephanie Haley, Clinical Psychologist and Principal at Aveley Clinical Psychology next door at Suite 3. She earned her Mental Health Cert IV at Midland TAFE and has two units left to complete her Psychology and Counselling degree at Edith Cowan University.  Sonia was awarded The SANE Hocking Fellowship in 2014 where she studied and researched Borderline Personality Disorder overseas, including USA, Canada and the UK.

Her passion and commitment is to mental health and well being.  She is especially interested in a holistic approach to mental and physical health. This includes recognising themes, links and patterns of past and present behaviour, and how the mind and body interact.

Sonia regularly participates in professional training and personal development to enhance her therapy skills.  Sonia’s special interests include:  Borderline Personality Disorder, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Eating Disorders, the psychology of Type 2 diabetes compliance, lifestyle issues and making lifestyle changes, depression and anxiety, mind and body connection, trauma sensitive yoga and mindfulness.

Mondays: 9am – 7pm

Fridays: 9am – 7pm

Saturdays: 9am – 2pm

Fee:  $50 for 55 minutes – Mental Health Care Plan not required
